Polar Bear Hunting RV Resorts

The polar bear is native to the Arctic Ocean and the seas around it. It is the world's largest carnivore species found on land and males average around 880-1,500 pounds in weight, female polar bears usually weighing about half that. Most polar bears are born on land, but many of them move to the sea, living on the ice. The polar bear habitats are decreasing because of the melting ice, and many polar bears are drowning, which decreases the populations. In the past thousands of years, polar bears have been essential to the Arctic indigenous people, who use the polar bear as a key figure in spiritual, cultural, and material objectives. The hunting of polar bears and using the fat, or blubber, is still a big part of their cultural lives.
