Fox Squirrel Hunting RV Resorts

Fox Squirrels are one of the two species of Squirrels hunted the most because there are many of them. They weigh up to 3 pounds, and are slow moving. They are usually found in open woods, near the forest edge. Two or three hours after sunrise is the best time to hunt for Fox Squirrels. They can be found all over North America and thrive best in oak, hickory, walnut, and pine trees because they produce foods, such as nuts. The Delmarva fox squirrel, a subspecies of Fox Squirrels and found in many eastern U.S. states, is a listed endangered species and are not supposed to be hunted.
